Clients meet in small groups which are facilitated by a qualified counselor. Typically, counseling groups are organized around a specific issue. Group counseling provides an additional level of intervention and support by bringing together people who are struggling with the same issues. During group sessions, members are encouraged to share their stories and offer their insights to the other members.
